Passes to the castle for Pickering residents

Pickering residents can apply to the town council for a pass which gives them free entry to the castle.

If you are interested in buying a pass, you need to come to the town council office in the Memorial Hall,  and bring

  • a document which shows that you live in Pickering;
  • a passport size photograph of yourself (and your spouse or partner if both of you are to go on the same pass). This photograph will be incorporated in the pass.

 The cost of each pass is £1.00.

 Passes can be issued to

  • a resident over the age of eighteen;
  • a parent with a child or children under the age of eighteen who live in Pickering;
  • parents with a child or children under the age of eighteen who live in Pickering.

 The pass is valid up to the time that you move from Pickering.

 The town council is open between 9am and noon Monday to Friday.
