| Handyperson Services for Ryedale residents Vale and Dale Home Improvement Agency provides a low cost or free Handyperson Scheme that operates throughout the local authority area of Ryedale. The service will be available to both homeowners and tenants and labour willbe free of charge to those over 50 and on a low income or diabled of any age.
Services include: minor adaptations such as grab rails, banister rails, minor joinery tasks, replacing curtain rails, changing light bulbs, gutter cleaning, small plumbing jobs such as fitting lever taps, changing tap washers, assembling flatpack furniture, replacing small window panes, fitting shelves. Small painting jobs such as doors and frames. The Agency also provides a very low cost grass cutting service throughout the period April to September.
